C. Woermann Nigeria Sponsors the 12th Edition of DOAM Foundation’s Fundraising Golf Tourney

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others”. At C. Woermann Nigeria, our corporate social responsibility is at the heart of our business. For this reason, we partnered with the Daniel Ogechi Akujobi Memorial Foundation for the second time in sponsoring the 12^th Edition of the organization’s annual charity fundraising golf tournament.

Since the inception of the foundation, the organization has touched over 88,000 lives. This partnership, C. Woermann-DOAMF, has an objective to support local underserved communities in selected communities in Nigeria by improving certain living conditions like providing relief and welfare items to orphaned and disabled children’s homes, youth mentorship programs, skills acquisitions for women, and scholarship support to talented children.

The event took place on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Golf section of Ikoyi Club 1938, Ikoyi, Lagos. Over a hundred players secured spots in the final round after the qualifying event that was held on the 7^th of January, 2023. It ended with a dinner and awards night of hearty speeches and a moment of silence for the hero whom the organization is named after, Daniel Ogechi Akujobi, son of Mr. Akujobi. Yearly, the organization celebrates Little Daniel’s sacrifice that has made way for 88,000 individuals to have access to better care and a better chance at having a better life.

During the event, C. Woermann Nigeria treated golfers at hole 15 with refreshments, photographs, happy moments with past/friendly customers and a chance for familiar customers and new prospects to sample our wares such as the Stihl agricultural and gardening tools like the Brushcutter and its accessories, Construction tools like Makita drills, Makita cordless inflator, Brennenstuhl electrical solutions, digital solar lightings, etc.
